Art is an essential part of who I am. It’s a language through which I can express my innermost thoughts, feelings, and ideas - sometimes in ways that words cannot. Creating art is a form of meditation, a journey of self-expression, discovery, and transformation.
My passion for Indian art forms runs deep, rooted in the rich cultural heritage and timeless beauty that these traditions offer. From the intricate patterns of Tanjore, Kolam, and Madhubani to the vibrant storytelling of Warli art, India's diverse and ancient art forms are a constant source of inspiration for me. I aim to weave these traditions into my practice, celebrating the diverse techniques, colors, and themes of Indian art while also blending them with contemporary influences. Whether it’s incorporating traditional motifs into modern designs or exploring classical art forms in new ways, my goal is to keep the spirit of art alive and vibrant.
Beyond my work, I am deeply passionate about teaching art to all ages. Sharing the joy of creation with others, especially children, fills me with purpose. I love introducing my students to these rich traditions, fostering an appreciation for the depth of art. It’s a joy to see them connect with their roots while also expressing their individuality. By sharing these ancient art forms, I hope to inspire a new generation to carry forward the legacy of creativity, while continuing to explore and evolve their artistic voices.
